WP Migrate DB Pro makes pushing and pulling your databases across two locations a breeze. If you are developing a database locally but need the latest data from a live database, the plugin lets you pull the live database to replace the local database. The plugin also resolves the issue of replacement applied to data that uses PHP serialization. Normally, this can corrupt the serialization, but WP Migrate DB Pro detects serialized data and runs a special find and replace on it to ensure the data is not corrupted.

Another extremely useful feature is the ability to backup the data before running a migration. This keeps your data secure and allows you to go back in time and recover things that have changed but shouldn’t have during the migration.

The plugin lets you exercise complete control on the migration process through the pause/resume and cancel options.
